Part 1 of ?
Olivia Benson returned to the office a little before lunchtime and with a pounding headache. She opened her locker and took out a bottle of Tylenol and poured several into her hand, shoved the half empty bottle back inside her purse and slammed the locker door.
"Doesn't anyone believe in peace and quiet around here?" Fin snarled around a mouthful of falafel. "Where's your other half?"
"He wanted to check out the bartender and one of the friends."
"So how'd it go with the vic?" Fin asked.
"She had a pretty good memory for someone who was drugged."
"Yeah well, we're waiting for the results of the rape kit and fingerprints. There is something that just doesn't click with me and I don't know what. Hopefully Elliot will come up with something. How's the door to door going?"
Munch chimed in. "Ha! We got two neighbors who didn't even know her name until today and a woman who claimed to have had a two year affair with her husband if that tells you anything."
Olivia rolled her eyes and dry swallowed the pills.
"Tell me something good." Cragen demanded, stepping out of his office. He pushed Fin's feet off his desk. "This isn't your mother's house. Have some manners."
"Nothing yet Captain." Munch replied.
Cragen looked to Olivia with hopeful eyes. She shook her head.
"C'mon! What the hell are you guys doing? Standing around with your thumbs up your asses?"
Munch winked at Fin over the top of his glasses. "The most fun I've had all day!"
Olivia picked up her phone and dialed Elliot's cell phone. He answered after the third ring.
"Meet at the Silver Dollar Bar at the corner of 8th and 23rd in fifteen minutes."
Olivia hung up the phone and headed to the door.
"What's up?" Munch called after her.
"You'll know when I know." She called back over her shoulder.
Silver Dollar Bar
8th and 23rd
The Silver Dollar Bar was a trendy club with a hole-in-the-wall name, the kind of place Olivia might haunt if she had the urge to throw back a couple.
She was only five minute late, but she knew how Elliot was about being on time. She scanned the room and didn't see him.
It was noon and so many people drinking their lunch. Where the hell was Elliot? She dialed his number again.
"The cellular customer you are trying to reach is not available..."
"Damit Stabler!" Olivia slammed her cell phone on the bar.
"Get you something?" A chesty woman behind the bar asked.
"No. Thanks." Olivia said without a backwards glance. If Elliot had already questioned her, she didn't want to interfere.
Olivia's cell phone rang.
Cragen began to speak before Olivia could say anything. "Olivia! I need you back at the office ASAP!"
"Ummm ok. What's going on?''
"Your test results...that's what's going on. Get here now."
Twenty minutes after she hung up the phone with Cragen, Olivia was walking in the office door.
"Looks like we're in for a long day." Munch replied. "But since you asked...he's in his office."
Olivia didn't even knock. "You wanted to see me, Captain?"
"Yeah. We have a problem."
"What kind of a problem?"
"The test results proved that Elizabeth Scarborough was raped...or at least had sex and the fingerprints are a perfect match with those from John Bishop."
"Great, we have our perp!"
"Not exactly. The blood DNA on the towels, tire tool and Ms. Scarborough's clothes...belong to someone else.
